More than 10 years ago, we launched the “Leadership Lounge – science meets economy” together with berliner team GbR. Since then, we have been co-hosting the networking event at the Seminaris CampusHotel Berlin in Dahlem. Berliner team as host and organizer invite executives, HR professionals and industry representatives from science to participate three times a year.
The Leadership Lounge offers a forum of exchange for inspiration and communication. Look forward to valuable impulses around the topics of innovation, leadership, and new work.
The pandemic catapulted us all into an exceptional situation in many respects. In the professional context, we had to deal in particular with the question of what our everyday life should look like in the future. It quickly became clear that conventional approaches would no longer be able to deal with the problems of tomorrow or even today. Hybrid and agile working have become buzzwords; but how exactly does this work and what problems are associated with the change process?
In the first presentation “‘We’re doing it agile now!’ – Curse or blessing in the hybrid working world?”, Dr. Dominic Lindner, Teamlead Project Management at noris network and lecturer at IU University, takes a look at the resulting developments. He is part of Generation Y and looks at the advantages and disadvantages of agility from this perspective. In doing so, he underpins his practical experience at three large companies in Bavaria with scientific studies and reports on how the establishment of agile mindsets has succeeded or failed.
In the second presentation, Susanne Franke (Agile Practice Team Lead at TUI) and Kai Brausewetter (Senior Agile Coach at TUI) tell you how their team of senior managers actively participated in the agile transformation at TUI with a Scrum-oriented approach, what practical experience they gained and what conclusions they drew from it. Looking back, they take you on their learning journey, telling you how they tackled hierarchy issues, how collaboration worked and how employees were involved.
After the presentations, you will have plenty of time to network and exchange ideas on the content.
You should get tickets to the event if you’re interested in first-hand accounts of the ups and downs
• in the agile working world,
• in New Work processes at management level,
• in the change process for science, human resources and executives.
