The hotel chain is taking another step toward sustainability this winter season with a vegan feast. Companies can book the new menu for their Christmas party.

The winter season is approaching and the desire to sit together over a cozy meal is growing. Companies thank their employees with an invitation. Teams meet to review the year together. In keeping with the occasion, the kitchens of Seminaris Hotels are serving their customers vegan duck for their Christmas celebrations, made with TiNDLE’s base product, because sustainability is an important element of the hotel chain’s philosophy: According to the 2020 Blue Horizon Report¹, plant-based vegan poultry uses 82 percent less water, 74 percent less agricultural land and causes 88 percent fewer greenhouse gas emissions than animal products. Companies can book the dish for Christmas parties in Berlin, Lüneburg, Leipzig, Potsdam and the other Seminaris locations.

Seminaris makes sustainable action particularly tasty. “For the Christmas menus, our chefs use TiNDLE’s purely plant-based product and offer a festive dish that melts in your mouth,” says Deborah Bertram, Head of Food & Beverage at Seminaris. “We sought a meat-free alternative because environmentally conscious, future-oriented action is close to our hearts. With the vegan duck, we show our customers that the sustainable choice can not only be easy but also delicious.” Bertram has a strong and motivated team at her side. Like Marius Schröder, head chef at Seminaris Lüneburg, who says, “We’ve been working on the dish together and are already experimenting with other creations. It’s nice that the cooperation has come into being.”

Timo Recker, CEO and co-founder of Next Gen Foods, the company that developed TiNDLE, adds: “Our mission at TiNDLE has always been to offer foodies around the world a delicious and sustainable alternative – not only in restaurants, but also in hotels. We are excited to work with Seminaris as our first hotel partner in Germany. The chefs at Seminaris have created an outstanding dish and we are eager to hear the feedback from hotel guests and travelers.”

The vegan roast duck is offered by Seminaris Hotels as part of the Winter Dining. The menu can be booked now and until the end of February 2023 for Christmas parties, group events and other events.
