At the Seminaris CampusHotel Berlin, events have a new “playground“

Seminaris CampusHotel Berlin Tagungsraum Play Cube

Rooms should offer opportunities for development, be functional and at the same time allow completely new high flights: At the Seminaris CampusHotel Berlin, this can now be experienced and used at first hand to discover completely new professional perspectives. After extensive redesign of the entire groundfloor of the Conference Center to create the new Play Cube, the hotel now offers unique space for meetings, incentives, conferences and events as well as workshops and trainings based on the concept of New Work.

It brings people together, enables intensive exchange, exciting learning and personal development. This is also reflected in the design: screens on easels instead of flipcharts, versatile co-working furniture instead of classic conference chairs. Intelligent seating furniture with integrated work materials, organic forms, games and inspiring quotes provoke new ways of thinking in the best possible way. “A charmingly playful interior meets a very high-quality equipment in the field of technology and acoustics. This allows us to offer our guests a very modern meeting culture”, explains Phillip Unruh, General Manager of the Seminaris CampusHotel Berlin. Everything is designed in harmonious natural colors – and rough industrial lamps, old wood and open ceilings cause exciting irritations.

Seminaris is specialised in New-Work-Meetings and Workshops – unique in the hotel industry. The methods and formats of the concept enable intensive transformation processes for companies and their teams. “New Work means questioning things and rethinking in order to move forward, remain future-proof and develop personally,” says Phillip Unruh. “We have done this ourselves as a company, and our teams also work with the methods. We have virtually reinvented ourselves – and feel how much more fun this can be in our profession and how much closer it brings us to our own goals. I am delighted that the Play Cube’s transformation has enabled such a great result: It is an extremely innovative area that sets no limits to creativity. Our rooms now show the individuality that we want to offer our guests.

In-house Conference Center

The base of Seminaris CampusHotel Berlin is formed by 15 spacious meeting and conference rooms for up to 700 participants. The hotel has its own Conference Center on three floors with separate entrance and goods delivery. It has two large foyers, the meeting rooms are air-conditioned and up to 4.20 meters high. The floor-to-ceiling windows can be blacked out, and the event technology and conference infrastructure are state-of-the-art. The Conference Center covers an area of 1,570 m². In addition to a 720 m² conference hall, the almost 500 m² Play Cube is one of the highlights: Here, playful working is explicitly desired and it is particularly good for small and large groups to get together, discuss together, develop ideas and think “out of the box”. The area can be used in its entirety or individual areas can be separated on request – as a “room in a room” that is perfect for working in a team. The complete equipment of high-quality materials needed for modern conferences and presentations according to the New Work concept is available. The hotel is also happy to arrange presenters, keynote speakers or trainers from its own network.

Extremely flexible conference rooms

For those who need more space, there is the conference hall “Domus Variabilis” on the second floor of the Berlin Conference Center: as the name indicates, it can be subdivided particularly flexibly. This is ideal for almost any type of event, especially since there is enough space left here to accommodate different distance regulations. Like all Seminaris hotels, the Hotel Berlin is of course also optimally adjusted to comply with the security regulations for Covid-19: A well thought out package of measures approximately around hygiene, food supply and guest support makes a relaxed staying overnight, meetings and meals possible. From masks at check-in to a breakfast concept to a coffee break directly in the conference room, everything has been thought of – and the hotel team is committed to attentive and sensitive care of the visitors as well as a maximum of flexibility.

In the city and in the nature at the same time

The Seminaris CampusHotel Berlin and therefore also the Conference Center combine the stimulating urbanity of Berlin with relaxed nature: Like all Seminaris hotels, the hotel is located very close to green nature and yet directly to the City West. “The entire design of our hotel is very timeless and blends smoothly into its neighborhood. Through the windows we look out over the green of Berlin Dahlem and our guests can step outside at any time and enjoy the fresh air,” says Phillip Unruh. “That simply feels good and often enables better ideas and fresh motivation. Whether brainstorming sessions outdoors or a “walking break”, where participants are equipped with provisions rucksacks to recharge their batteries outside – the environment is consciously included.
