We are ready: On 25 May all Seminaris hotels will open their doors again! Thanks to an all-round well thought-out concept, not only stays for relaxation will then be possible, but also conferences and events – of course in accordance with all safety, hygiene and disinfection standards in line with the recommendations of the WHO and the Robert Koch Institute as well as the guidelines of the federal government and the individual regulations of the federal states.
With its extensive experience in the field of conferences, events and seminars, the Seminaris team has developed professional standards for the time of Covid-19 at an early stage and can now flexibly adapt them to new requirements and continue to optimise them. In the past weeks five of the eight Seminaris hotels throughout Germany were closed. When all of them open, the capacities and room plans for events will be adjusted, with particular attention to maintaining the distance rule. Everything has been well thought out, including, of course, the culinary aspect: food will be served in accordance with the guidelines of the Federal Government and the individual regulations of the federal states. For breakfast, where a buffet is not yet available, there are four varied variations to choose from, including croissant and wholemeal rolls with jams and honey and yoghurt (“Tiffanny”) or crispy stone-baked sourdough bread with ham, cheese and fried eggs (“Hans sein Sandwich”). These menus can be picked up at the restaurant, eaten there or ordered to your room.
Flexible cancellation conditions
There is currently a wide range of offers for the rooms and very flexible cancellation conditions apply: Everything is geared towards a high degree of flexibility and agility. In addition to the best available rate (Seminaris Agile), the hotels also offer best deals, early booking deals and special offers for seven or 14 nights. Anyone who wants to relax for a longer period of time, whether for an intensive work phase or for sustained regeneration, can rent apartments for at least one month at the Seminaris Hotels Bad Boll, Lüneburg and Bad Honnef at a particularly favourable rate.
Selected hotels also offer a “Weekend Feeling” weekend offer or an attractive single room offer – “City Friends – You and Nature”. Enhancements can be added to all offers: Behind “Cowork & Sleep” or “Citylife Adventure” are additional services such as the use of printers, business lunch offers or a box of office supplies. Jochen Swoboda, Director of Operations at Seminaris Hotels, explains: “Over the past few weeks, we have been in continuous contact with our customers and guests, have adapted existing bookings to meet their specific needs, and above all, have asked them about their requirements and flexibly adapted our offers to meet them. In order to give our guests security, we also make it transparent at all times how we are implementing the currently necessary security and hygiene measures and how we will continue with any renovation work in our hotels that is not yet completed”.
Meeting in nature
Since all Seminaris Hotels are located in or close to nature, they offer the unique opportunity to hold meetings outdoors – or simply to step out of the meeting rooms directly into the countryside and sit and work together longer when the weather is fine. In the fresh air, in a relaxed atmosphere and surrounded by greenery, you will feel completely different and the energy flow in your body will be strengthened. The Seminaris Hotels have also had very good experiences with their “Walking Break” offer for a long time: brainstorming sessions or the search for the solution to a concrete challenge are simply moved outside. With a task and provisions in your luggage, you set off on a walk where you can discuss, create and decide. This format is part of the comprehensive orientation towards sustainable, modern world of work, based on the New Work concept, which Seminaris realises in all its hotels.
If companies want to be sure that more colleagues can participate in a conference, they can use the “Hybrid Conferences”. This involves holding smaller meetings in one of the rooms of the Seminaris Hotels, which then acts as a “satellite station”: From there, the event will be transmitted via live streaming to other conference rooms or even worldwide to any location. This not only allows more participants to participate, but also saves on travel and is therefore climate- and cost-friendly.
