Science Slam

Objective: Knowledge transfer

Participants: one person at a time, no limit on total participants
Duration: 10 minutes speaking time per lecture

• A science competition in which scientists (with good communication skills at best) present their research within ten minutes
• Afterwards, the audience votes for the best presentation, and the intensity of the applause decides the victory
• The Science Slam is an entertaining program element during a meeting or conference, where the audience acts as a jury
