Because climate action starts when responsibility turns into action

Every Tree Counts – Together for Climate and the Future

Reforestation with benefits for people and the planet

For Seminaris, sustainability means taking responsibility not only within our hotels but also beyond our own operations. That is why we partner with Click A Tree to support reforestation and social development projects in Ghana that create long-term environmental and community benefits.

The partnership combines environmental impact with social progress. In addition to planting trees, the projects create jobs and support educational opportunities for local communities. This creates an approach that connects environmental responsibility with social development.

At the same time, our guests can become part of this journey. Through selected offers, overnight stays can be linked directly to tree planting, turning every stay into a tangible contribution to a more sustainable future.

„One tree alone may not change the world. But many small decisions can create an impact that reaches far beyond the present moment.“
Seminaris Sustainability Team

Working together with Click A Tree

Together with Click A Tree, we support reforestation projects in Ghana that help restore degraded land and create new forest areas over the long term. At the same time, local communities benefit from employment opportunities and educational support.

One example is our Green Rate. Guests who choose this offer automatically support the planting of additional trees in Ghana, linking sustainable travel with a direct environmental and social contribution.

The partnership is an important part of our overall sustainability portfolio and complements many other environmental, climate and resource-saving initiatives across Seminaris.

Creating measurable impact

By the end of 2025, the partnership had already resulted in the planting of 3,867 trees.

These trees are expected to absorb approximately 1,856 tonnes of CO₂ over time while also creating positive social impact. The projects have generated around 967 working hours, supported 773 days of education, and contributed to the restoration of more than 15,468 square metres of land.

These results demonstrate how environmental protection and social development can work hand in hand.

Our goal is to grow the Seminaris forest to at least 8,300 trees by the end of 2027, further expanding our contribution to climate protection and sustainable development.
