Together with TourCert, we strengthen sustainable business development, transparent processes, and responsible action across the tourism and hospitality industry.
At Seminaris Hotels, living responsibility means understanding sustainability as a long-term commitment and combining business success with a conscious use of resources. For us, this includes social engagement as much as transparent corporate governance – not as a statement, but as something that shapes how we work every day.
That is why our sustainability strategy is built around environmental, social, and economic priorities – continuously evolving alongside our company.
Our sustainability strategy defines the goals, actions, and responsibilities that guide our journey toward a more sustainable future. It creates the framework for projects, partnerships, and decisions that we integrate step by step across our organization. This turns strategic thinking into practical action that shapes our everyday business.
A conscious use of energy and resources is a core part of our sustainability approach. That is why Seminaris Hotels implements concrete actions that make sustainability visible in everyday hotel operations:
Step by step, these actions create hotel operations that conserve resources and make sustainable action visible.
Our environmental and climate goals are designed to reduce emissions, use resources more consciously, and embed sustainable action throughout our business for the long term.
Key initiatives include:
When selecting partners, we focus on transparent processes, clear sustainability criteria, and long-term collaboration. Our internal guidelines and Supplier Code of Conduct form the foundation of this approach.
We prioritize regional sourcing, support fair partnerships, and expect our suppliers to meet high environmental and social standards. This creates supply chains built on responsibility and designed for long-term impact.
Our sustainability policy defines binding principles for sustainable action across our business. It outlines our goals in environmental, social, and governance matters and serves as a clear guideline for employees and partners alike.
Transparency is an essential part of responsible corporate governance. In our sustainability report, we regularly share our goals, actions, and progress.
The report follows the VSME standard for small and medium-sized enterprises and documents our activities across environmental, social, and governance topics.
To ensure high sustainability standards, Seminaris Hotels follows recognized certifications, international standards, and independently verified management systems.
Our environmental management system is currently undergoing ISO 14001 recertification. Regardless of this process, clear procedures, defined responsibilities, and continuous improvement remain the foundation of sustainable practices throughout our company.
Our energy management system is currently undergoing certification in accordance with ISO 50001. The standard helps us systematically analyze energy consumption, identify efficiency opportunities, and continuously improve our energy performance over the long term.
Since 2021, all hotels operated by Seminaris Hotels have been powered exclusively by certified green electricity, helping us actively reduce our environmental footprint.
Through BREEAM, we follow internationally recognized standards for sustainable buildings, energy efficiency, and resource-conscious real estate development.
