It doesn’t always have to be a whole business plan. The Business Model Canvas gives you a quick overview and can identify weak points of your idea. It can also help you compare different variants of a business model. The Business Model Canvas consists of nine areas (customer group, value proposition, customer channels, customer relationship, revenue sources, core resources, core activities, core partners, cost structure) with four perspectives (value proposition, customer, infrastructure, finance), which are filled in one after the other. It is a useful complement to the Value Proposition Canvas, which focuses on value proposition and customer value.
