From Dual Studies to a Convention Sales Duo
How collaboration became real growth
I’m Anna Marie, and next to me is my close colleague Sophie. Together, we were part of the Convention Sales team at Seminaris Hotels.
After completing my dual studies in tourism and event management, I joined Seminaris and quickly found myself in an environment built on trust, ownership and collaboration. My calm mindset and attention to detail helped me better understand customer needs and create tailored event solutions.
What I appreciated most was the opportunity to actively shape my workday and contribute ideas. At Seminaris, it was never just about completing tasks — it was about taking responsibility, thinking ahead and growing together as a team.
„Seminaris showed us how important trust, openness and genuine collaboration can be for personal growth.“
Why teamwork mattered so much to us
Hi, I’m Sophie, and I was part of the Convention Sales team at Seminaris Hotels since the end of 2022. I supported customers in planning seminars, workshops and events while developing customised event solutions together with them.
What I loved most about my role was the variety. Every day brought new challenges, different people and new situations. That constantly motivated me to take responsibility and continue developing both professionally and personally.
Teamwork played a huge role in that experience. Anna Marie and I not only built a strong professional partnership, but also a real friendship. This open and supportive environment made everyday work life very special.

What we learned at Seminaris
At Seminaris, we learned that development does not have to be perfect. Mistakes were seen as part of the learning process rather than something negative. That openness created trust and made it easier to try new things and take ownership.
Especially in Convention Sales, we experienced every day how important communication, support and collaboration really are. Everyone contributes different strengths and perspectives, and that is exactly what allows teams to grow together.
For us, Seminaris was therefore much more than just a workplace. It was an environment where personal growth, openness and shared learning were genuinely part of the culture.
What we took from our time at Seminaris
Our time at Seminaris Hotels showed us how valuable it is to grow together and support one another.
We learned to take ownership, contribute our own ideas and embrace new perspectives. Most importantly, we experienced how trust, openness and real collaboration can support both personal and professional growth.
Many of these experiences still shape the way we think about teamwork, development and modern working culture today.
